Hi guys,

It came to my attention that since our business updated to Kerio Connect 7.0.1 my mobile device won't go into standby when I got push mail enabled. When I change from push mail to periodically check it will go into standby without a problem.

With the previous version of kerio this did not happen.

Using Windows Mobile 6.5

Thanks in advance.

Kind Regards,
Xionax

Hello Xionax,

I have the same problem.
Also using Kerio connect 7.0 and a HTC HD with Windows Mobile 6.5.
With Kerio Mailserver 6.7 I had no problems at all.

Kind Regards,

Colfax

Same problems here with 7.0.2 patch 1, and 7.x also broke ActiveSync with Palm Treos.

Bleh.

No the problem is not resolved in 7.1.0 unfortunately.

According to Kerio Support it is tentatively scheduled for the 7.1.1 release.

A very good solution for the meanwhile is this freeware:

http://s2u2.ac-s2.com/

It´s not only a good screenlocker, it also suspends the phone after a adjustable time when backlight has been dimmed.

We've identified the source of the problem and it will be fixed in the next service release. As a workaround set the client to scheduled or manual synchronization mode instead of "as items arrive".
