Hello,

I am looking for some help fine tuning the built in spam filter.

I have added several custom message rules, but they are not having the desired effect. Specifically I am trying to not have messages from specific AOL addresses marked as spam. The rules I have added are in the following format:

Header = From
Type = Domain
Content = xxx<at>aol.com (xxx being a replacement for the actual address for this posting)
Action = allow
Description = xxx<at>aol.com

As I stated above messages from these individuals still are marked as spam. I have also tried chaning the Action to decrease the spam score by 10 points. Same net effect.

As always any help is much appreciated. If it matters we are running KMS 5.7.9 on Mac OS X Server 10.3.3.

Thanks,

Randy

I have the same issue with AOL. I put a general decrease for the AOL.com domain of -3.5. I have found that to allow most legit AOL emails through. And then for our specific AOL addresses I put a ALLOW rule for the address.
I think this is what you want, but try using the Address type instead of the domain type. If you are setting a specific address with the <at>, then I don't think domain will work.
