I was told to make the current (read: bought and paid for) anti-virus system to work with Kerio Connect.

I did not see any option to integrate Symantec Endpoint Protection with Kerio Connect. Using the built in McAfee scanner is not an option because it will be disabled - thank their lack of testing with Windows XP for that one.

I am also wondering why the whole Kerio Connect folder needs to be excluded from the anti-virus scan? All that says is "if you want to place your harmful stuff on a computer, insert here."

Your Kerio Connect folder is scanned by the build-in solutions, when needed. Having a second scanner constantly scanning al files touched by the mailserver will slow down your mailserver 2x!

I don't understand why people need to run a client-side virus scanner on the server... protect the internet connection, and use things like Kerios build-in features.
And use a server OS that's not full of viruses ... maybe?
