Hello

We've setup an esx on our development server. And we downloaded Kerio 6.7 patch 2 esx version on linux and started it successfully.

But we have to connect to a Microsoft Remote Access Server over VPN connection but we couldn't make it.

Do you have any documentation how to connect from Kerio running on linux on esx to a Microsoft RAS ?

On our old setup, Kerio was running on Microsoft Windows 2003 and these two Microsoft Servers had a vpn connection between each other. But we have no chance like this since we have kerio running standalone on esx, we have to connect from Kerio directly to Microsoft RAS. But we had millions of errors except "successful connection".

How to do that ?

Thank you in advance.

I'm sorry. Could you be more specific? What kind of VPN do you want to use? IPSEC, PPTP or Kerio VPN?

1. Kerio Firewall to Microsoft RAS?
2. VPN tunnel between server with Kerio Firewall to server with Microsoft RAS?
3. Clients connecting to Kerio from outside mapped to Microsoft RAS?

Kerio WinRoute Firewall is using own VPN which is not compatible with Microsoft RAS.
So you have two options:

1. Buy second KWF for RAS server and create VPN tunnel between two KWF's.
or
2. Use some Linux client on esx to connect to Microsoft RAS (either PPTP or IPSec).

Have you tried to create a new PPTP interface (Interfaces->New->PPTP)?

Kerio VPN is not. But you can create a PPTP connection which is compatible on the interfaces screen (via button 'Add').
