Did you subscribe to share folder in the settings?

when u give someone rights to ur calender you have to go to setting and you would see subscribe to share folder.

when u finish with that you would need to enter the username of the user who owns the shared folder or calender.

Let me see if i understand your problem. You have USER1 and you create a Contact say it CAll CONTACTS1 and you would like USER2 to see the infomation inside of it?

IF that is correct you would have to let USER2 log in and Select SETTINGS under setting you would see Subscribe Shared Folders. when you have slected that it would ask you for a username so u need to enter USER1 username. This would allow that contact to be shared once the proper permissions was set on the file by USER1

Hope this fix your problem

Hi,

I created a xxx contact folder using root user. This calendar was published and shared to xxx<_at_>xx.com domain users as editors.

Is shown using webmail by those users but not using outlook.
