Hello,

I'm a bit disappointed to discover the Kerio Outlook Connector is not compatible and supported with Outlook 64 bits (on a Windows 7 64 bits computer)...

Is there any roadmap or timeline of release ?

I just installed Kerio Outlook Connect (Offline) onto 2 Windows 7 64 BIT machines yesterday, one was Outlook 2007 and one was Outlook 2010 -- both were working without trouble.

Did I miss something?

I just tried it myself. Running Windows 7 64 bits Ent. and Office 10 64 bit. Both the offline and normal connector are NOT working...

...they release a 64 bits client but not for 64 bits office, really strange....

Even on Windows 7 64-bit, Microsoft does not recommend to use Office 2010 64-bit. They recommend to use Office 2010 32-bit. This is because Office 64-bit only works with 64-bit plugins and there are hardly any 64-bit add-ons and plugins around.

There is also no real benefit to run Office 64-bit (your Outlook isn't faster because you run it 64-bit). The only advantage right now is if you work with very big Excel sheets, you can address more memory. But for 99% of the users this is not the case.

So that's why a 64-but connector is probably not too high on Kerio's priority list at the moment. This might change over time.

I'm aware about MS recommendations but if i ask for supported addons it's because i'm part of the last % requiring excel 64-bits.
let see if app-v can solve my issue...
