Hi everybody,

I've installed the Kerio Connect trial on an XP SP3 box however since this is a existing XP install with several applications tested on it (including some tune & tweaking tools, a couple of firewalls and a couple of antivirus suites) one or more services Kerio depends on might have been disabled (read IS/ARE disabled).

When trying to start Kerio Connect I now get the error:

"Failed to start service "KerioMailServer", Code 1068"

Or when trying to start the service the Windows way (Services -> Kerio Connect -> start)

"Could not start the Kerio Connect service on local computer.
Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start"

I was wondering if any1 could tell me which windows services are required to run Kerio??

I know it's best to install it on a clean box or even switch to a linux box however for several reasons I'm unable to (re-)install any OS on this machine...

Thanks for your attention!!

Kind regards,

Maarten

The dependencies of/for a service are listed in the services applet. This is a Windows error, not something Kerio can control.

Check if the "NT LM Security Support Provider" service is started.
