Hello - new to Kerio world - some assistance please:

Setting up some remote offices - we thought to use Kerio as a cost effective measure - setup on a couple of spare Windows 2003R2 (32-bit) servers we had as extras.

Setup 2003 as AD controller / DNS / File Server. Server sits behind NAT router - router manages DHCP and DDNS.

verified MX and hostname via nslookup - we can get to server from outside world and actually have users login to Kerio webmail.

opened up applicable ports as directed by Kerio (HTTP, HTTPS, LDAP, LDAPS, SMTP, SMTPS, etc.

Kerio installation goes well / ad connector goes well - select users to setup from AD.

All appears to function except:

1. can't send or receive externally - internal domain email works fine but i suspect they will quickly grow tired of emailing each other...lol

2. LDAP and LDAPS cannot bind to ip address so it won't start - not sure if this is affecting our ability to send/receive.

3. under the mail log we get status 4.4.1 - cannot connect to remote host.

At present this is just a test/dev machine in our lab until we figure out this issue so we can deploy.

please advise - much appreciated on the help.
