Hi,

My company already bought McAfee Antivirus before acquiring Kerio Connect.

Kerio have several options regarding antivirus:
1- using inside McAfee antivirus
2- using a list of external antivirus which appear in \kerio\Mailserver\plugins\Avirs.

I would like using a third way... using outside Mcafee to scan email Smile

Someone could tell me that is the way to parameter outside Mcafee to scan email please?

regards

This is not possible. Kerio Connect can use only integrated anti-virus and/or any of supported 3rd party AV solutions. Unfortunately, external McAfee cannot be used.

Is Kerio team working on a patch to work around this case?

In my opinion, McAfee engine inside kerio is roughly the same that the full one !!! isn't it?

So,waiting McAfee solution, I tried to implement ClamAv 0.96.1, this version is neither supported by Kerio. I can't find any windows ClamAV 0.95.3 engine.

What is the way to have an antivirus scanning my incoming mail?

thanks.

There will be no patch. McAfee is licensing the engine separately. There is nothing to fix.

Although ClamAV 0.96 is not officially supported, it does work with 0.95 plug-in in Kerio Connect.
