Wed, 04 August 2010 21:16 gwieland Messages: 6 Karma: 0 Getting the following error in the ERROR log after updating to 7.1: httpserver.cpp: PHP Warning: json_encode() [function.json-encode]: Invalid UTF-8 sequence in argument in /usr/local/kerio/mailserver/web/weblib/int/api/jsonrpc/Respo nse.inc on line 30 Any ideas anyone? Otherwise everything else looks fine. Thu, 05 August 2010 09:50 macjimbo Messages: 103 Karma: 6 I too have been getting this message but no idea of its significance? Thu, 05 August 2010 09:55 forum69 Messages: 62 Karma: -1 Some points found with this new release after upgrade yesterday . 1/ same error httpserver.cpp 2/ in security log viewed with the console admin : a line with "null" entry sometimes appears. But no trace of this word in the file security.log. 3/ Some subscribed calendars no more appears in iCal. Some users have to subscribe them again. Thu, 05 August 2010 16:20 Anonymous Karma: This is an annoying but definitely not dangerous bug. It happens when an invalid UTF-8 character is read from a log. We are working on a fix. Fri, 06 August 2010 16:11 freakinvibe Messages: 1552 Karma: 62 I get a lot of these errors as well [06/Aug/2010 15:55:42] httpserver.cpp: PHP Warning: json_encode() [function.json-encode]: Invalid UTF-8 sequence in argument in C:\Program Files\Kerio\MailServer\web\weblib\int\api\jsonrpc\Response.inc on line 30 [06/Aug/2010 15:55:44] Last message repeated 21 times This happens only when logged into Web Administration. As Djuhas from Kerio said, it doesn't affect operations, just unfortunate that it fills the error log and you might overlook important other things in the clutter.
