Is it possible to remove the active directory extension once it has been installed in th AD?

I'm evaluating kerio connect and don't want to be stuck with the extensions if the product doesn't work out.

No, that's not possible. Once the Active Directory schema is extended, it can't be reversed (that applies to any AD schema extension). We recommend to create a testing domain while testing KC.
