I got problem with the Control appliance that the preformance of the (internet) network traffic is going down.
Control gets two internetline in load-balancing inside.
Primary line has following specs: 80 down/ 10 up.
Secondary line : 4 down / 1 up.
LAN Side 1 Giga NIC on GB switch.

I have tested the primary line with notebook direct attached and get a nice 85 down /10,3 up. When Connect is in between the speed is dropping to 40-65 down / 8 up. Sometimes i get only 30 down. Ping time should be a round 20-40 ms. When using Control this is 120 ms or higher.
Tested with and without Sophos. The NIC's are Broadcom and Intel 1 Giga NIC's, so that should be the probleem.
Memory is 2 GB and the CPU a P4 2,4GHZ. Tested with 40Gb HDu and 4 Gb Flash IDE. Both the same result.

Has anyone this same issues or a solution?
Or is this a know issue by Kerio R&D?

I have a similar issue with the "software appliance".
Clients who begin a download have a slow download speed and it decrease each second until 2 Kbits/sec of transfer rate.
Many times the download don't complete ad appear an error like "the connection has been reset"

Did you checked for Worm activity, it look like that you have them in your network.

In my case, there is no worm.
Th answer from Kerio is that my system isn't good enough.
But i think there is some kind of memory leak.
When i restart the appliance the first connections are at high speed. Then after i well the speed reduce.
I have tried this with IPS on or off. And Protocol inspection off at the most of the traffic except http (because need it for monitoring), but also tried is with all off. but it seems that isn't a issue.
And this is happing since the latest version. Before i didn't have this issue.

Hi

This problem one bug in the LAN interface.
When the LAN is 1G/s link the Controll Appliance is very slow. I tried Realtek PCI-e,3Com Giga.
I change LAN card's for Realtek 8139 and works fine.

Question cannot be stupid, but some of the answers can.
