hi there all,
i have a HOW TO question.
i have installed KC 7.1 and we want to sync the public address (contacts) to all WindowsMobile phones in our compagny but we DO NOT know how to do that. Its still not working...

In our KC webmail i can see the public folders AND i have FULL ADMINISTRATOR rights.
When i click the puclic folder -> contacts and then (on top) settings -> folders to sync popup screen will come up were i can select this contacts map.
All OK unitl now.

Then i open my mobile phone and sync with KC server. All my personal maps sync perfectly BUT the contacts in my public folder maps are NOT shown. They are NOT in my contact list.

What am i doing wrong ? we use windows mobile 6.1 and on my personal windows phone i use version 6.5. Both are NOT syncing the public-folder contacts.

Can some one PLEASE help us.
Many many many thanks in advance

Menno!

Are you sure that your mobile device is capable of that?? Because it isn't.
Windows Mobile device cannot display or work with more than one (personal) calendar and contact folder. However, it can manage shared/public email folders.

So your only option is to use GAL and online search for public contacts.

Windows Mobile 6.5 CANNOT SYNC public/shared calendars or contacts. It can sync only public/shared email folders. This is the limitation of the device.

Go to the WebMail and select Settings menu. Then "Folders to sync" option.
Configure ActiveSync account on the device. Open Outlook on the device and select "Manage folders" in the menu. That's all.

You will have to ask Microsoft or Android developers.
