Hi,
I finally managed to get BESX to work with KBC!! (Phew! Smile

Mail and contacts seem to work, but the user does not see the public contacts (and also public email folders).
In Web Desktop and also in BAS there is an option to select resp. allow public folders for a user to sync. But there are none to choose from, it says that "none are defined".

1.) Can anyone confirm that access to public folders is supported via KBC? (I really hope so!)

2.) Where can I set this? Is this a Kerio Connect thing or a BES thing?
My user has appropriate rights in Kerio (he does see those folders in his webmail).

Thanks in advance,
Philipp

It is in BES: Topology -> Blackberry-Domain -> Components -> eMail
[above are translated menu names]

Mh, does not seem to be that easy - in the Web Console of the user, it still says "none assigned".
I read that the besadmin user needs administrator ("8") rights on the public folder (in exchange). Since in KerioConnect the besadmin user is somehow built-in, I guess that the rights should be ok?

Can anyone conform this, or give me a clue where to look?

Last statement from Kerio support (some weeks ago) was that public contacts currently do not work on the BB devices.
They said they are working on it, but cannot give any time schedule.
I guess it would be a good idea to remind them, if this feature is important to you, too...
