Good day everyone

For some reason, messages arriving from Google mail servers are delivered several times - not always, and not the same number of times! In some cases, a message from gmail would appear twice. In some cases - 3-4 times. This morning I got one 9 times! Same email, same Internet header, identical in every detail except for the Received.. section which denotes the time when this specific copy was received. All copies get received within 3-5 minutes.
The Mail log lists entries for receipt of each copy.

I have been trying to figure it out on my own but no luck - and it's not even reproducible. It's as if sometimes the Google mail server does not receive or does not recognize the end of an SMTP session - but my knowledge runs out at this point. Help?

Do you maybe have a firewall or some other security device inspecting the SMTP conversation between Google and your Kerio server? I know there are some firewalls that do this and sometimes their inspection and/or sanitizing techniques can cause problems like you're describing.

Gmail was having an issue earlier this week exactly like this -- multiple copies of email from their users. Google did some sort of upgrade to the Gmail platform that introduced the issue. They have claimed that it has been corrected.

Hi,

I'm having the exact same problem so clearly Google haven't resolved this issue.

Has anyone got anymore light to shed on this rather annoying problem? It's impossible to replicate and seems to only be occurring on a few incoming gmail emails. I can't get it to repeat through mine at all.

Running Kerio 7.1.0 patch 1

Thanks

Received a mail 300 times today from a single Gmail account, Is Google recognising this issue even exists?
