Hello guys,

I'v just installed Kerio Connect 7 and i have some porblems...

I'm trying to receive email thru POP3 in Outlook Express 6, but every time my password is rejected. Password is 100% ok.

I'm getting message:

There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'pop.xxxx.ca', Server: 'pop.xxxx.ca', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR authorization failed', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

WEBMAIL works fine.

My config:

- Windows 2003 Server R2
- Kerio Connect 7.0.1 build 1249
- Domain MX record pointed to my server's IP

- all required ports opened in Windows Firewall

- all required ports forwarded to server's IP address

I don't know what to do, Please somebody help me.

Thank you.

Get sure you have set no restrictions for security policy under Kerio Admin (Configuration/Extended Options: Tab Security).
But it would be better to use SSL in your Clients after all.

Check the KC warning log for details. Maybe the user name is wrong.

@freakinvibe: you make a good point!
From the error Message:
Account: 'pop.xxxx.ca'

Shouldn't be there the username either username or username<_at_>domain.com, it looks like that the servername was entered as username...

Problem Solved:

My POP3 configuration was pop.xxxx.ca and i removed pop.* and now it's only domain name xxxx.ca as a pop3 server and works fine.

Thank you for support.
