Hell friends,
I am having problem in DNS resolving of any website. All URL on I based are working but not Domain is working.

My Scenario is:

Server 1: 192.168.5.1 (AD, DHCP, DNS)

Server 2: (KWF) :-
LAN 1: 192.168.5.2 No Gateway, DNS 192.168.5.1
LAN 2: 10.0.0.5 Gateway 10.0.0.1 DNS 10.0.0.1
10.0.0.1 is DSL Modem

I am using Kerio Control 7.0 with NAT enabled.
HTTP Policies: All Allowed.
No Authentication
NO URL Blocking

Kindly help!

I would suggest that the external interface on the Kerio box (10.0.0.5) be given an external DNS server, not the one of the router (10.0.0.1). Your dsl provider will have specified one, or you can use a service like openDNS (highly recommended).

Thanks for the reply markt,

But if the problem is with Extrenal DNS then why is it browsing on Server of KWR. The problem is only on client side. I am having doubt on DNS on LAN 1. I just wanna make sure that should i put the DNS on LAN 1 or not.

Are your clients using Server1 as their primary / only DNS source?
If so, have you configured the DNS server with the Kerio server as a forwarder?

Kerio do recommend not having DNS on the LAN NIC - something I have had problems with in the past, especially when the kerio server is authenticating against a DC on the internal LAN.
