The gentleman who had been in charge of our Kerio server and who configured most of our Windows machines recently retired and his work is now mine. I set up a computer for a user with a freshly imaged hard drive. When I configured Outlook, I chose the Offline Connector server as stated in the directions. However, shortly afterward I noticed that alllll of the messages in her Inbox disappeared! All was left was a message from Kerio about the initial synchronization. The sub-folders under the inbox as well as her sent, etc. folders were untouched. I've searched all over the Kerio forums and the internet in hopes of finding the answer. The best I can tell is that the messages aren't deleted, just in some "store." They're not visible through the web interface either so I truly do not know what to do next. Since there was a new hard drive, there's no .pst to import from either. All help is welcome.

This is Outlook 2007 running on a Windows 7 machine.

I guess the messages were downloaded (and removed) from the Inbox by some POP3 client. Check the Operations log on the server.

I just checked the server Operations log and you are right, it says POP3 but when I look on the settings on her computer, it says that the KOC is a MAPI server. What am I missing?

Was the account accessed with POP3? If so, from what IP address? The same?
