Hi all

myself and colleague have tried to set up kerio firewall and mail server on the same system.

1st the firewall (control) then mail server (connect).

both installed fine.

We then created a host on no-ip.com for web mail.

the router's DMZ was set to the system with a static IP of 10.0.0.8

but even with doing the following the web mail service still didnt seem to work. (not even displaying the log-in page)

we opened the necessary ports. IMAP, POP and SMTP. after this didn't work we opened all traffic.

It still didn't seem to work.

after thinking it might be the firewall blocking something we then un-installed the firewall (control), and it still didn't work.

So our questions are the following:

1. can mailserver and firewall be setup on the same system?

2. are we doing something or a setting wrong which we forgot to take into consideration?

thanks alot

Chris
