I already have tomcat running on my server, along with a couple of other web services - can I move the directory to my current installation?

I'm not a tomcat guy so I'm quite a noob when it comes to configuring it.

Hello Mike,

you probably can, but I would first recommend to become familiar with Tomcat and being able to solve configuration problems as they arise. We won't be able to provide support for such an exceptional scenario.

One thing that's for sure is that Workspace must be deployed in a root context of a Tomcat server. You can't just move it to a relative URL like /workspace/... The app doesn't support such a flexibility internally.

I don't believe that users are buying hardware ONLY for workspace, so I believe it is the software provider's responsibility to insure the product works when a base software product is installed. I think you should look for tomcat and integrate it rather than being so closed minded about other applications currently running on the server.

I'll put in a feature request for this.
