Hello All

Is Kerio Sync Connector supported when used with Network Homes?

I have few iMac's running 10.5.8 connected to OSX Server 10.5.8. Installing KSC is not a problem and it seem to work fine. What I have notice happing is that the "launchagents" has problem starting "com.kerio.isyncconnectorupdatechecker.plist" the reason it seems is that the folder is redirect to longer network path as it is a Network Home.

After time, as it fails to start this correctly the iMac slows right down just about all Application stop responding or can't be open. Restarting will correct this for a few hours.

Anyone having this problem and solutions would be great?

Cheers

Can you clarify a couple of things?

Is this a Mobile Home (aka Portable Home) directory where the data lives both on the server and on the local disk and gets synchronized from time to time (or at least at login/logout) and the path is to the local disk (/Users/userdir/)?

Or is it a true network homewhere everything is stored only on the server and the path only points to the server (/Volumes/serverdisk/userdir/ or something like that)?

Thanks.

Cheers,
Jon

Hello Jon

"Or is it a true network homewhere everything is stored only on the server and the path only points to the server (/Volumes/serverdisk/userdir/ or something like that)?"

This is correct.

Thanks
