Kerio connect 7.02 seems to interpret email sent via php script incorrectly.

A simple php email test message sent from our web server arrives at our kerio server with a blank From address. The From address is instead placed in the body of the message.

Sending the same test message to other servers, for example Apple's mobileme work fine. Here is the code. We've tried many other scripts as well.

$to = "someone<_at_>";
$subject = "Test mail";
$message = "Hello! This is a simple email message.";
$from = "someonelse<_at_>";
$headers = "From: $from";
echo "Mail Sent.";

Additional headers must be explicitly terminated with a CR/LF pair. Since your From header lacks proper line termination, the extra headers can't be parsed and ends up in the message body instead. I.e., Kerio doesn't know where the headers end and the body starts and plays it safe. The Mobileme servers are probably less stringent on CR/LF checking.
