Hi,

Could it be nice feature to give Operator a optional DHCP service?
I can imaging that you want the Operator running within his own LAN (Physical or VLAN). Prefferable physical to work with PoE switches and totally seperated from the data LAN.
And the possibilty to work with two NIC's.
One WAN (to SIP providers - Internet) and the otherone to the Phone LAN.

I'll second this - to have Operator and the phones on a separate VLAN would potentially be quite useful...

VLAN's! DHCP w/ Operator. Excellent idea!

e.g. 24 port switch
VLAN<X> tagged on 1-21; phones 1-20, operator 21
VLAN<X> blank on 22-24; LAN DHCP Server 24, other LAN devices 22-23
