Windows Phone 7 is not currently on the list of supported devices. Official support for this device will be announced later.

Windows Phone 7 will be supported in Connect 7.2.0.

But frankly, I've found that WP7 devices have a quite serious issues with network communication (packet duplications, timeouts) so I'm not sure if WP7 is a good choice in general.

ok i understand your concern...BUT

I think you use a old version of windows phone 7. Confused
There is a new firmware available from htc (for the O2 germany and htc europe version)
This version is GOOD. Its stable and works very fast

Last question...
Is this supported in the 7.2 BETA allready ???
If yes i can give the 7.2 beta it a try

thanks

It still works with actual Kerio Versions.
As some other Users posted in a Forum you have modify the mailserver.cfg of kerio Connect.

When you do this you do it at your own risk.
We do it and it works now for over 2 months without problems.

Stop the Kerio connect services. Search for "mobilesync" in the mailserver.cfg file.
There is a variable called "AllowUnsupportedDevices". Set this Variable to 1.
Save the cfg file and start teh Kerio Connect Service.

One importend think is that you need the Certification File of Kerio on your Windows Phone.
This instruction is only needed if you have an self signed certificate.
Since there is no offical way to copy files to the phone the simplest way is to use e-mail with a attachment.
So export the cert File from Kerio Connect and rename it to "Name of Certificat.cer" and mail it to an e-mail account where you can access via webmail. Open this webmail via Windows Phone and install the attachment (the Certificat). Restart the Windows Phone. Have fun

And by the way. Our Windows Phones works really great from first day without a new firmware. We have Samsung Omnia 7 and LG in daily work. Some of our customers has HTC Mozart. Only the First Generation of HTC 7 has some Problems.
Previous Topic: set "SendTo" option to attach file inside kerio webmail
Next Topic: Port 11301
