I am interested in Operator but am concerned about the IVR functionality being so slim. Will you provide a more robust IVR programming language?

Specifically I am looking for:
Connections to a webservice connection
Intelligent call routing based on callerid
Javascript or similar programming language for conditional routing

Other features:
True reporting with call statistics
on-demand license creation (monthly license extensions to add more users)

Hi,

We prefer to call the current functionally an "Auto attendant" as it is not a full IVR solution. We plan to add some programmable API support in version 1.2 and beyond.

We have a plan to add reporting similar to StaR in Control.

Plans sometimes change. The StaR-like reporting was not implemented yet. You can export the call data from Operator and run the stats in an external tool. It's also possible to read the data using the JSON API, the SDK in the DevZone includes an example of how to do it.

I don't have an account, but that sounds like a RESTful API. If so, it is all the rage in the IT world to call it a RESTful interface. Can't be part of the cool club unless you do so Smile.

It's not REST but rather JSON-RPC.

Ah, fair enough. My intention wasn't to be derogatory. Just a little humor about how everything is claiming RESTful interfaces. I think the company who makes my coffee maker is trying to make that claim.
