i have an old version of kerio winroute v6.5.3 ..before couple of days i was checking the update service and i found that update v7.1 ((almost 2 yrs upgrades Very Happy )) ..my question is..if i updated the version i have to the latest one, am i going to lose my license?!!..i mean do i have to buy a new license for that?!or would it work as licensed with me?!...waiting for response Smile ...

The license will be valid if you have every year extend your licence (software maintance). If you have Kerio Control (winroute) with McAfee then the base license must be changed. This will be done free of charge. This must be done because Kerio has switched from McAfee to Sophos.
This change can be done when you buying the yearly software maintance license.

i hope this was clear enough.

i see..so i have to buy the software maintenance license?!..although i've downloaded the update to the latest version for free but am worried of installing it and then it would be a trail version..

Until when is your license running?
you can find that on the splash screen when you connect to the firewall admin.
