Now, regarding the ports 80/443 i didn't change it on the KWS

also i tried to add "4060 port" manually on the kerio firewall admin console > Services > Add > TCP > equal to 4060

The same thing also i am not able to access the KWS WebAdmin.

Any other solution for this issue?

Thanks in Advanced.. Smile

Hello,

both beta 5 and beta 6 have a bug: if the server fails to start the HTTP service on port 80 or 443, it also doesn't start the admin HTTP service on port 4060. That's why you cannot connect to the admin port.

Solution is to edit manually the file tomcat/conf/catalina.properties and change the ports to values that are not already occupied. Then restart the service.

The next beta will behave correctly: The admin service on port 4060 will always start, and you'll be able to open the admin console and change the ports in the "Server ports" dialog.

Hello,

I set on the "catalina.properties" file as the following:
###
com.kerio.workspace.http.port=12
com.kerio.workspace.https.port=1212
###

Then i restart the service of KWS then I tried it give me this result:
"Working" http://localhost:12/
"Working" http://localhost:12/admin/
"Working" https://localhost:1212/
"Working" https://localhost:1212/admin/

____________

Then i just reset the ports of KWS of Webadmin (http 12 & https 1212)
____________

Its working fine Smile , I would like to thank you.

I have the same issue - but my workspace still does not start.
I set the port to 8000 und 445 on WIndows Webserv 2008 - the service still exits with an error after a few seconds.
Any further guess? It's the same when i use ports 12 and 1212...

I figured that the problem seems to be another...
When i use nestat -nao right after starten the workspace service - i can see that it binds to 8000 and 445 like defined. After 3-4 seconds the service exits automatically. When i use netstat -nao 5 seconds after starting the service, the binding is gone (because the service is terminated...)

Any Guess?

I solved my problem. It was another Tomcat server running by another application. It was configured with other ports, but somehow it stopped Workspace from starting.
