I am currently on Connect v7.1 and we have multiple domains running on 1 server. Several of our people are "moving" to our other domain and I am trying to find the best way to move the users mailbox from one domain to the other. They will keep the same username. I was curious if I could stop the server and physically copy, or move, the mailbox from one domain folder to another. Has anyone tried this?

Simply use the "Move user's message folder to an account of another user" feature.

Ah, I was thinking that you could only do that inside a single domain. I will try that. Thanks

Remove the account, but Do Not remove the mailstore(folder).

In CLI/Terminal, move the account folder to the new domain (copy if you wanna feel secure!)
Add the user with same shortname.

The same goes if you would like to change the main shortname of a user account..
Simply delete account but not mailstore, mv account to new shortname, add new shortname..

Then say THANKYOU Kerio for not using some proprietary database... Wink
