Hi everyone,
This morning my server crashed after some storage problems. (I had about 60 MB of free space). I cleaned up my server a little bit en restarted my mailserver (which stopped also).

But after that, when I looked in my email programs, iphone or webmail, I was supprised that I had a very small amount of e-mail. I checked the admin program where is written that I have about 10288 e-mails in my personal (IMAP) mailbox. Mac Mail can only find 1118. Did I just lose more than 1000 e-mail over the past few years or is there something like a mailbox recovery tool?

My last received mail after today (according to webmail) is dated on 25th of september 2010. The months march til may 2010 are totaly missing.

I'll be very thankfull to everyone who wants to help me with this problem.

Stephan

I think your index.fld files were corrupted. Stop the Kerio process, nuke those files, then restart the Kerio Connect server.

I found the files in /opt/kerio/mailserver/store/mail/mydomainname.com/myusername /INBOX/
When I run "cat index.fld", my server returns a lot of crap like:

But it seems to be 'normal'. How do I 'nuke' the files?

When I count the rows of the result, I can read 1118 rows: the amount of the e-mails I've left.
