I have installed the latest Kerio Connect on my server. The Kerio Mail Server works great however the Webmail part has a problem. When I login for the first time to any of the webmail accounts on my server I get very long WAIT hour glass and it does not go anywhere. I need to log out, and then log back in and then everything works fine. Anyone has an idea how to fix that problem?

Many thanks!

Is it only related to the first login?

We've noticed that this kind of behaviour occurs regularly with KC 7.1.2p1.

Well the first login when you want to use it. After you log out and log back in then it is OK. But yes, every first login it will be stuck. Any solutions?

We do have exactly the same problem. It's really annoying! We didn't have this issue with KM 6.7.

I am looking for a solution, too. Did you open a support ticket yet?

Have you tried to clear the check-box for

Log hostname for incoming connections

We had the slow login problem and the un-ticking of that check box solved it. It is in the advanced section of the admin console.

Just try to CLEAR this box and see if it helps.

I can't confirm this either. It occurs sporadically.

OK, then you maybe have another problem. The root cause of our problem was that if the IP address you were connecting from had no proper PTR record in DNS this caused a long delay.

For troubleshooting, enable web logging in the debug log to see when the delay happens. Also check if the connecting IP address has a PTR record.

All the PTR records are OK. The log in problem happens upon each and every first log in. I am still stuck!
