Hello,

I cannot view/edit any files on desktop. Error message by Kerio workspace client: Unable to connect to server.

Network connection is handled via a proxy/firewall server (HTTP/HTTPS proxy)

I can access workspace via HTTP / HTTPS (ports 80/443). Web Interface is fully functional including web preview of documents.

But I cannot view/edit files on desktop via Kerio workspace client. Installation procedure of workspace client worked without any problem. Workspace client is active.

In another proxyless environment, there are no such problems.

Does Kerio workspace client need any special open TCP-Port? Perhaps it is a firewall issue?

Kind regards

Hermann

Workstation OS: Mac snow leopard; active proxy configuration via network configuration panel.

proxy: squid

BTW: Network admin told me, that SSL is only assigned to Port 443.

Kerio workspace administration is not accessible via Port 4060. But that is no problem, since 443 ist open.

The Workspace Client doesn't support such configuration yet. We are going to add the support in a next release.

Thank you. Can you suggest a workaround?

Unfortunately currently nothing else than "don't use the proxy". Sorry.

I am having the same issue. However, the long workaround is to download the file and upload a new versiĆ³n... which is basically what the client does.

My Workspace server is running behind a reverse proxy btw. I have it set to, when the specific the url matches a specific subdomain, the proxy routes the traffic to the KWS server.
