After downloading aut config tools from web mail, they do not work. Entourage 2008 fails "Error occurred in the tool when accessing Entourage. Restart Entourage and then run tool again".

This fails when re-tried.

Downloading the Address Book config tool, it also fails to connect to cinnect:

Server: mail.mydomain.com:80
Login name
Password

Unable to configure Address Book and Directory Services
Cannot connect to server. Mad

Yes, I have tried that several times. Manually doing a config works fine. Just thought this feature of the Config Tool would be faster...epic fail

FYI, the iCal and Address book Config Tools also fail

The only time I've seen the auto-config tool fail is when DNS is wrong. Does the hostname in Kerio match the DNS hostname?

If DNS was wrong, the server would not work at all, correct?

The server would work, for the most part. Check what I asked about and let's see if they're identical.

DNS is fine, so what are you asking?

If any of the tools fail then the problem could be on your computer (eg. wrong Python version etc.). I would start with looking into the logs (in the Console app) and then contacting our technical support at http://support.kerio.com.

Computer is a MacBook Pro running 10.6.5 & Entourage 2008 (latest version). Kerio Connect 7.1.2 is running on a Xserve running 10.6.5 server.

Was this ever solved?

I'm having what looks like the same problem. On my iMac I get the error that there are no LDAP ports available on Kerio Connect. On my Mac Book Pro I don't get the error but the accounts are set up pointing to port 80. But in Kerio it says the LDAP port is 389.

Why is this "auto" feature not working?
