It would be helpful to be able to setup a scheduled backup for Operator, similar to what is in Connect. Of course, it would end up much smaller that Connect's backups, and could be pushed to a USB drive on the Operator server...

Hi,

Would uploading of the backup to some network server (e.g. FTP) be a good option?

Sure, some sort of upload process would be great. Can you give us the option to do one or both (upload as well as local USB flash drive)?

We use TrixBox on our system and I have been playing with the release version of Operator. Among many important missing features, not having an automated backup option and be able to have not only local but also a remote site for all backup content is a big negative.

I am looking forward to the next revision to incorporate a lot of missing features for Operator that would make it a valid option even for small business.

Now to go find the place to give input on all important missing functions...
