Hi,

Kerio listens on port 11301. What is the purpose of this port ?

Good question, I have no idea. It doesn't appear to be listening on that port here.

I've hit this because my backup software uses this port. At the moment I first stop Kerio, start the backup client and restart Kerio. Doing so the backup client gets the required port and works.

If I after this stop the backup client and restart Kerio port 11301 is NOT used by Kerio. But after some time (don't know how long it takes ...) Kerio starts to listen on 11301.

I come acoss this every time I've to upgrade the backup client. Doing so I've to restart it. While doing the upgrade Kerio started to listen on 11301 preventing the backup client from restarting. This happend three times by now ....
