Dear Kerio,

An increasing number of client are asking me for a solution to VPN with their mobile devices (iPad, galaxy tab, iPhone etc.)

As far as I know they either have to terminate on a seperate VPN server and let that traffic pass through Control. Or use the clientless SSL VPN, but that's not really a good option as well.

What people really want is simply use their L2TP, PPTP or IPSec VPN options that are already in these devices to connect to their Control.

Does Kerio have any plans to develop in this direction ?
If yes can you elaborate on the plans ? If not, what's the reasoning behind this (so that I can explain it properly to my customers).

I had already ask this question a time ago. To make vpnclient solution to all mobile variants like WM, Andriod and Apple apps. Also i had already ask to add the possiblity to connect with IPsec/PPTP on Control.
It would be very handy to connect with other firewall/routers.

So +1

It is actually possible. however, I think there is a funk with it currently. iewarticle&kbarticleid=52

On server 2008 I keep getting the "A connection between the VPN server and the VPN client #myphoneip has been established, but the VPN connection cannot be completed. The most common cause for this is that a firewall or router between the VPN server and the VPN client is not configured to allow Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE) packets (protocol 47)."

We had it working at one time only to the home office (branch offices never did connect), but we upgraded to 7x at the same time we put in Server 2008. Now neither of them work.

However, when it did work....I gotta say, on the iPhone, trying to use RDLite, or other remote desktop software was a pain....trying to scroll to see items on your desktop...iPad would be better.
