Hello,
excused ask my bad English
I have a problem with to install from Kerio the Connet 7 on a virtual server Debian 5 64 bits
the following order with to install used
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
apt-get install libstdc++5
wget download.kerio.com/eu/dwn/kerio-connect-linux.deb
dpkg -i kerio-connect-linux.deb
then following error message comes
:/# /etc/init.d/kerio-connect start
Starting Kerio Connect: Engine start-stop-daemon: Unable to start /opt/kerio/mailserver/mailserver: No such file or directory (No such file or directory)
failed!
Can someone help me here, despair is to, gives it howto for an installation under Debian 5 64 bits?

You have to install the 32Bit libraries because Kerio Connect is a 32Bit application.

My install script looks like this:

apt-get install libstdc++5 ia32-libs
dpkg-deb -x /tmp/libstdc++5* /emul/ia32-linux/
dpkg-deb -x /tmp/libuuid1* /emul/ia32-linux/
dpkg -i kerio-connect-7*-linux.deb
/opt/kerio/mailserver/cfgwizard
chmod go+x /opt/kerio/mailserver
/etc/init.d/keriomailserver start
