Hi,

I am looking for good smart phone to our company. Every platforms have some pros/cons, but now I´d like hear user experiences from Android based phones. Especially mail clients and ActiveSync. Currently I´m testing Samsung Galaxy S i9000 -phone with KC 7.1.3.

Pros:
-Phone really works and feel good
-Works with KC 7.1.3
-Easy to use and learn to use
-Calendar widged

Cons:
-RoadSync for Android does not work with KC
-Native mail client show subfolders, but they will not be synced automatic. Only manual subfolder sync works.
-Calendar event alert only once
-No tasks

I would recommend a Windows mobile phone. Kerio is not 100% compatible with Android devices and a variety of issues occur. The issues are sporatic and non-consistent.

Thanks Caramello, this is nice software

It is now really close to be perfect ActiveSync application. Application have its own database and applications, it does not integrate with phone´s own calendar etc. Someone could think that this is bad thing, but it helps to keep personal and business data separated. Touch Down also solved all cons what I listed earlier.

I miss better integration with phone´s addressbook, now it sync only from Touch Down to Phone. Was nice to notice that they actually support Kerio Connect server and other ActiceSync compatible servers.

I am using a Galaxy I9000S too With Android 2.2.1 and KC 7.1.3 I tried the following scenarios:

1. Native activesync of the device
2. Roadsync
3 .Touchdown.

Out of the box however the only one that worked was Touchdown. I got in touch with a Kerio Technician and he told me to change a configuration in Connect. With that change the three programs worked flawlessly. You have to edit the mailserver.cfg file located in Connect's directory with the mailserver down (if you don't the changes will not be saved)

In the label: <table name="MobileSync">

That has variable : name="AllowUnsupportedDevices">0</variable>

Change the number "0" (zero) to a "1" (one)

good luck....
