Hi,

In Kerio Connect it is possible to turn off the http service to force users to use https.
Is this also possible in Workspace?
I can't seem to find any option in the admin page, and it is a pretty basic function.

Can't i use something like mod_rewrite otherwise on the server?
It is a bit essential to force https for me.

Thanks.

Hello,

it's not possible to force users to use https.

We understand that this can be a serious shortcoming of the product and want to add this option in near future. The HTTP service can be either turned off completely, or can automatically redirect to HTTPS.

Hello,

Thanks for your awnser.
Do you have an idea where I could place a .htaccess file to make a server-side redirect to https?
I can't find a normal webserver folder (linux) which workspace uses.

Thanks.

Eventually decided to install Apache on the server and dump a .htaccess file in the var/www
http service of workspace set to port 8080 (which is firewall blocked).

And now everything gets redirected to https.
