Hello,

I would like to share some issues here, and maybe have some closure.
(Is it expected behavior? Or can it be suppressed/corrected?)

I setup yesterday a BES Express 5.0.2 server, with Maintenance Release 1.
(Windows 2008 R2 Standard, IPv6 disabled, UAC disabled)

I also let the Kerio Connector for BES install the MAPI/CDO executable, even though this is not the latest version available on MS website.
(The connector is the corresponding version to my Kerio Connect setup, 7.1.3)

I tried to activate a 5.0 OS 8520 model device through WiFi (even though I have a working BES option and a capital "EDGE" logo, this is just to gain some time).
I wanted to activate directly to the BES BB Router service (bypassing RIM's NOC).

Well, activation stalled at 11% (tried 3 times : no luck).
Then I tried to activate without filling the "activation server address" field : worked immediatly and went to 100%...
(Note : it works OK on another BES we have connected to an Exchange server, using the same device and the same WiFi hotspot)

=> At this point, BES' log files do not show any error message, but the Kerio Connector's ones do.

Another issue I am facing concerns the reconciliation delays.
When I click "reconciliate now", some actions get processed immediately, but some other take a long amount of time to perform (from 5 to 15 minutes) :
Delete received message, delete sent messages, mark as unread.
(As a matter of fact, "reconciliate now" accelerates only "mark as read" actions)
Also, creation of any PIM entry (calendar, tasks,...) is almost instantaneous, but deletion takes forever to synchronize (15 to 30 minutes, at least).

Note : I can see the BES' MAGT log showing that the element has been deleted just a few seconds after the action has been performed on the device.
(But the actual action on the Kerio mailbox performs at least 15 minutes later... Is the Kerio Connector delaying some actions to gain speed/performance?)

The last issue I am facing is about "out of the office" management.
If I set an OOF message in Kerio, it doesn't synchronize on the device, and vice versa.
I think this behavior might be expected... Is it functional between Outlook and Kerio?
(I still haven't run tests on Outlook : BlackBerry is a more urgent priority)

However, I can see in the BES's MAGT log that there has been a problem while getting/managing OOF features :
[20675] (01/14 00:31:53.548):{0x1794} {******<_at_>domain.com} Error creating OOF Rule in GetOOFRule (OpenProperty failed) (0x80004002)

And the corresponding error messages in the Kerio Connector's log :

Well, that's a lot of "missing properties"...
(I've got these messages on BES and Kerio Connector's logs every 5 minutes)
Any thoughts?

Many thanks in advance for any help/ideas/thoughts on any of these issues!
