i want to add an exception from Kerio user authentification for my general manager as he's bothered that he's required to enter a user name and password when he's using the internet..i want him to have a permission to connect to internet with no login required..is it possible??

yes, you must attach static ip address to Dhc (by MAC) and for that user attach that ip.

Question cannot be stupid, but some of the answers can.

I am of the view that it is rather risky to allow someone to connect to the internet without requiring log in. In this case suppose if the GM is absent for a day then anybody who enters his room can access the internet. He can send hate mails to his superiors. I seriously believe that such a situation should be avoided.

The Internet Explorer browser is able to remember the password for Kerio Connect. More precisely, for transparent HTTP proxy at the 3128 port.
So your boss has to enter the password only once and check the box to store it forever.
Also, domain authentication (if you have one) simplifies the ligin greatly.

There are two ways how to achieve that. Both of them requires your boss to have static IP (or reserved IP from DHCP reservations).
1. create a special HTTP filter rule and allow traffic from that IP with no authentication
2. edit his user account and assign an IP to his account. This will automatically log him in from that IP. For more info see manual http:// manuals.kerio.com/control/adminguide/en/sect-userslocal.html, paragraph User IP addresses
