Hello

Our users have setup Outlook to check on new messages only every 1 hour.

Problem is that Kerio Offline Outlook Connector does not seem to care about that parameter. It keeps checking on messages every 10 seconds or so.
So whenever our users receive a new mail, it will show in their Inbox 10 seconds after.
That's not the way we want it, that's why we setup Outlook to receive only every 1 hour.

Is there something planed to fix that issue?

Or is it possible to change the delay between each Kerio Connector checks?

Thanks

David

NB : we're using Outlook 2010

This sounds like the good old "it's not a bug, it's a feature" (or golden hammer) thing. KOFF does not use Outlook's send/receive schedule since doing that over MAPI would be pretty pointless. It's not what it was made for. If you have specific reasons for not checking mail more than once per hour, the only ways to do that (I think) are POP3 or somehow tricking Outlook into thinking it's offline between checks.

OK you can call it a feature Wink

Still, there should be an option to allow this.

When you are working on a shared Inbox where several hundreds of messages (sometimes thousands) arrive per day, you need such feature.
Otherwise it's impossible to stay on track.

Why? What is the problem you're trying to solve?
