We have purchased 2 Cisco 7942G phones for use with Kerio operator, we have updated to the latest sip firmware but the phones will not register, the operator debug logs show that the phones are trying to download 2 files but the phone logs state that the files can not be found.

Hi,

The Cisco "G" models are not yet supported. They are quite different from the older models internally.

Thanks for the reply, are there any plans to support them in future, we actually bought these phone because the documentation of Kerio operator stated that it was compatible with 794x\796x Cisco phones, it would have saved us just under £400 if the documentation would have been more specific.

We actually already did some work on the G models but encountered some problems. The remote restart of the phones is one of the issues.

The 7942G works with automatic provisioning. Just the configuration resync cannot be initiated remotely (from Operator).
