Hi People,

following situation:

OD (10.6.4 Xserve) with Kerio 7.1.3 (10.6.4 Xserve) connected via the Kerio Open Directory Extension.

Distributed domain set up successfully.

Now the following problem:

When I add a directory service user, this is the short name (firstnamelastname) was formed. Our existing mail addresses look like firstname.lastname

Changes in the apple-krb5.map has unfortunately not led to the desired result.

Changes to the entry ("uid")

<variable>
<name> name </ name>
<value> <attribute> uid </ attribute> </ value>
</ variable>

indeed lead to the mail address is correct, but the webmail login does not work because the query indeed Kerberos uses the short name.

Changes here

<variable>
<name> mail address </ name>
<value> <attribute> kerio-Mail-Address </ attribute> </ value>
</ variable>

only lead to two mail addresses to be created.

Does anyone know a way that the default mail address is not made from the user name?

Thanks for Help,
MacSEK
