hi, i have kwf 7.0.0 built 896 ,i use hostnames to control traffic and http policies and it works well until IP is changed on the host. as i see kerio does not look in dns server for resolving, only when apllying or restrating. can you suggest me something, i need it to be automatic because i have dhcp server and host IPs are changing rapidly and i cannot control them without it .

thanks

Do you have an Active directory? Maybe you can filter by username

when DHCP server is changing rapidly, the first thing u must consider...

MAC Address of an computer does'nt change.
The Computer Name does'nt change.
The user of an computer [maybe] doesn't change. Shocked
Only IP address of an computer changes.

Posibility (most), u can handle it using Kerio by username level.
<Just like Gustavo said>

From this :
I hope the next future of Kerio can handle policy in Mac Adddress level.. Laughing Laughing Laughing
