We've just installed 1.0.1 and are setting up voicemail but seeing ghost messages .. when dialing in to #50 for voicemail we are told we have 1 new message and 1 played message - the light on the phone then shows red. Wehn you click 1 to listen to the voicemail - the call is ended and the following error is logged:

[03/Mar/2011 13:16:24] operator asterisk[2210]: WARNING[7355]: app_voicemail_imap.c:4520 in play_message: Trying to access unknown message
[03/Mar/2011 13:16:47] operator asterisk[2210]: WARNING[7394]: app_voicemail_imap.c:4520 in play_message: Trying to access unknown message

We're using Kerio Connect integration and I see a lot of messages that look like below in the logs.

Hi Alain,

Is this a fresh install or an upgrade from 1.0.0?

We re-tested the Connect integration after an upgrade this morning. We started with Operator 1.0.0 with 1 new and 1 old voicemail message. After that, we upgraded to 1.0.1. It's working without problems for us.

If this was an upgrade, how many voicemail messages did you have before the upgrade? Was the integration working for you without problems at that moment?

Did you restart Operator only once (when upgrading) or did you restart several times?

How many voicemail messages can you see in the e-mail Inbox? From our previous communication, I recall you run Connect 7.2 b4. Do you still run b4 or have you upgraded to b5?

If you enable IMAP server debug messages in Connect, what can you see in the debug log?

Is it possible that the folder index is broken for the particular Inbox? In Connect, you could try to rename "index.fld" to "index.bad" inside the folder, this will force Connect to rebuild the index file.

Vladimir

This was an upgrade from 1.0.0 (which was an upgrade from an earlier build). There were no voicemail messages before the upgrade according to the phone (and myphone web). Operator was only restarted once as part of the upgrade process/

At the moment there are no voicemail messages in the inbox (that I can see) - I doubt there is an issue with the index as it's my primary mail and used all the time - we're also seeing the same ghost message error on all our phones.

I'm going to try and backup, install a new 1.0.1 and then restore to see if that helps ..

Thanks

Ok, have just tried from a clean install of the OVF. I restored the backup (excluding voicemail data) and had it not set to integrate from the restore.

If like this the phone reports no voicemail available. As soon as I enable the integration the phones say I have 1 new and 1 old message (Connect b5) - If I hit 1 to listen to the message the call is ended with the message:
[04/Mar/2011 01:59:09] kerio asterisk[2381]: WARNING[2445]: app_voicemail_imap.c:4520 in play_message: Trying to access unknown message

I rebuilt the index file as requested and get the same result before and after this.

I'm also seeing new errors as below:
[04/Mar/2011 01:55:02] API call security issue (-32001): Invalid token. Value of the token is: xxxxxxx (masked)

What level permission does the voicemail integration user need - currently I've set them as a <domain> admin - is that enough? It does not error when I do this so assumed it was ok.

Hi,

Do you run Connect 7.2 b4 or b5? We have repeated the test against both, starting with empty voicemail box in 1.0.0 and upgrading to 1.0.1. In both cases, the integration worked correctly for us and there were no "ghost" messages.

Could you PM me the "supportInfo" file from the SystemHealth screen in Operator's admin console? We would like to have our configuration as close to yours as possible.

Thanks,
Vladimir
