Mac OS X 10.6.6
KC 7.1.4 (and earlier)
Both Address Book and iCal are synced to KC using each applications built-in syncing abilities.

When I attempt to invite someone to a calendar event in iCal and if they are in a Public address book hosted by KC, iCal can only sometimes find the name. But even if it finds the name it is misaddressed and bounced back to me. It siad it was addressed to </principals/__uids__/1A933720-78E6-11D8-9016-000393C16F7E/>

If I enter an e-mail address manually everything works fine.

It looks the iCal is getting the user accounts from the Open Directory server instead of Kerio Connect public folder. Open the Directory Utility on Mac OS X client and remove Open Directory entry in the Contact search tab. There should be only Kerio Connect (MailServer).

Thank makes sense. I did what you suggested but iCal is still not looking at our mail server for these public contacts. The mail server is listed for contact lookup so I am wondering if there is anything else I need to do or check.
