We'd like to be able to nominate a user type based on the port number they cnnect to KWF on, (eg. 8081).

We're exploring this because we've plugged a wireless controller device into our network that will be managing user authentication using a library specific protocol (i.e. not using AD or fixed IPs etc.).

Here's how we'd like it to work:

-user type a connects to wireless controller and is authenticated then sent to KWF on port 8080. KWF then assigns a user account for this traffic based on the fixed IP of the wireless controller, easy enough...

-user type b connects to wireless controller and is authenticated then sent to KWF on port 8081. KWF then assigns a different user account for this traffic based on the port number that the traffic is coming through on.

Does this sound possible?
Any thoughts, comments or suggestions would be welcome.
