Hello. Trying to install the 7.2 Beta 6 on top of a KC 7.1.3 installation. But installation fails with "error 1714: cannot unistall previous product"

Anyone has a clue?

This is a windows install shield error. Try remove the installation entry with a cleaner like 'windows install Clean up' from Microsoft or a similar tool. Please backup your Kerio config files first for safty. This cleaner only remove the install shield entry and dont touch the Kerio installation itself. After the cleanup you can install it again.

Thanks Andreas. How do I securely backup my "config files"? Is this like a standard Kerio backup? Regards Joa

in ..\Kerio\Mailserver backup all *.cfg files. Save the subfolders license and sslcert. Be sure to have a valid backup auf your mailstore. Stop the mailserver before you proceed with the clean util and try to install the new version.

I do this two times on different installations and it worked for me. Kerio is in this point very easy to handle. Just install the new version in the same place and all worked fine. But always remember to kill Murphy fist Smile good luck.
