We receive a number of messages that contain attachments with double extensions (ie: filename.doc.docx). The attachment with the double extension is removed and the rest of the message is delivered and the sender receives an email notifying them of the problem. Following is an example of the some of the content of the email the sender receives.

The attached message did not pass through the server content filter:

Problem: Prohibited file extension
MIME type: application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessing ml.
File name: filename.doc.docx

There is no information given about how the problem can be corrected. A lot of people receiving these messages do not understand the problem or how to correct the problem. Can this message be modified so a clearer explanation can be given about how the problem can be corrected?

Yes, it's possible: edit file <path_to_installed_connect>/kerio/mailserver/reports/<your_language >/avir-admin.rep
You should create backup copy of customized file, because this file may be overwritten when you upgrade.

Thanks, that's simple enough.
