Hi,

is it possible to have an alternate FROM address in a iPhone Exchange Account?
After my research i am aware that with Microsoft Exchange Server and Mobile Me Accounts with alternate FROM addresses will be supplied from the Server and is available on the iPhone. However with my Kerio Exchange account i don't get any aliases!

I haven't found any way to manual enter an alternate FROM address.

kind regards
pal

After some mail with technical support, Kerio currently doesn't support this feature.
Apple iOS since version 3.0 is able to use an alternate from address, see:
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2823

If you also like to see support to this feature i opened a feature request at:

Please read that Apple KB article one more time. It says that only default alias is used. It is a known issue in iOS and not a feature.

"Note, however, that although customers can select a different alias from the list, only the default alias is used for messages sent via Exchange."

As i read this, the error is with Exchange and not iOS.
Quote:
Using the default mail alias for all sent messages is expected behavior for Exchange

So there is an iOS Feature that would work if Exchange did it right, maybe Kerio can make it happen?

Please let me know if i am just don't get it...
